This bath was originally a cramped builder grade tub/shower combo. Using patterns in tile, a cohesive color scheme and industrial farmhouse decor updated the space. Installing a large recess box in the shower with a shelf provides storage, operator for the showerhead was moved to the pony wall so as not to interfere with the diagonal Herrington pattern on the back wall. A coordinating Herringbone shower floors further plays up the angles and drama. Using a round mirror gives warmth to all the angles. Wooden shelves above the toilet give even more storage opportunities. The biggest change was adding a barn door so that it doesn't intrude on the already small area. Now this bath is no longer claustrophobic, but a hidden gem for family or guests to enjoy.
