Dining Room Remodel

A dining room that has extra space needs to have it made purposeful for that room and perhaps more. The area beside the table was given a "servery". It contains much needed storage but also provides a space that serves the family a home "business" center. It is multifunctional and provides an excellent focal point.

This was the wall before. A lot of space that is totally under utilized and so valuable in this very small kitchen.

Dining Remodel

This small wall in the kitchen had two exit doors on either side. By placing clear glass pockets doors, it keeps the room open. The cabinetry on the top half, allowed for a mini bar and storage for the dog dish and out of the way of foot traffic.

The dining room was started with an accent wall by the client which did not go to end of the wall. In wanting to keep the wall, some creativity was required to make it look totally perfect.

By placing beams in the corner which hid the fact that way wal didnt meet the end not made it a complete feature. Emblishing it with shelves on teh opposite side and a long servery lent itself to using it as a side board, business center as well.. The ceiling was given a textural

This wall before did not provide the feature that the home owners wanted in the dining room. In wanting to keep the side board, we incorporated it into the new design. By adding units along side and shelving above, it added so much more use in this area.
