East Isles Residence
The homeowner initially looked at updating a condo in Minneapolis with the architecture firm, but decided instead to renovate a circa-1900-1919 Victorian-meets-four-square. While the house had good bones, the floor plan was outdated and the dining room was disconnected from the kitchen. The homeowner needed space to showcase her collection of art and accessories, including an azure blue chandelier found in L.A. The homeowner also wanted a master suite with a dressing room for her fabulous, Hollywood-worthy collection of shoes and handbags. The architects also designed a new guest room, a secondary bath, and a back porch.
