This new home, built by DiGiacomo Homes, was carefully designed to encourage indoor/outdoor living by allowing a seamless flow of space from the interior living spaces through to the beautifully landscaped yard. Universal design was used throughout the home to allow the home to adjust to the owner’s needs over time. Sustainable features are also seamlessly integrated into the design from the ground up, including geothermal heating/cooling, photovoltaic solar panels and a plug-in system for an electric car. A carefully proportioned open floor plan is complimented by the richness of traditional detailing to create a study in how green architecture and traditional design can successfully work together.

The home was selected as the Green Dream Home of the Spring Preview Parade of Homes tour of 2013.
