Empty Nesters Create Forever Home in La Grange

The goals for this 1950's ranch renovation, designed by Normandy Designer Leslie Lee, was to update their forever home into a luxurious, but functional, space that suits varied lifestyles. The footprint was not expanded, but the entire layout was reconfigured and gutted so that inherent problems within the home could be addressed. A generous master suite, eat-in kitchen, dual offices, and fully remodeled baths, entries, and living spaces were designed to make best use of existing space, and accentuate the beauty and potential of this 50’s gem. Transitional styling to stand the test of time, and ever changing tastes was chosen to maximize longevity of the new design.
