Glamorous Kitchen Design

The homeowners of this transitional kitchen wanted a glamorous, updated kitchen that reflected their personal style. Normandy Designer Ann Stockard added a touch of glam with an iridescent backsplash tile that provided sparkle, shell light fixtures that draw the eye up and chairs that added a sophisticated touch. The white cabinetry has a clean, modern feel with a simple shaker style on the perimeter mixed with dark slab doors on the island and horizontal slab details on the back and sides. The kitchen become a functional space that is great for entertaining. This was achieved by re-working the layout entirely. This was also achieved by adding two islands which allow space for seating, and also a separate prep/entertaining space.
