Setting the stage for the new interior, we started with a beautiful hand knotted wool and silk rug to set the foundation and encompass the new neutral color palette. We wanted to bring the room together by placing a unique and captivating sofa that seemed welcoming yet elegant to the space. The contemporary cream curved sofa with the waterfall skirt dressed with throw pillows in silks, metallics, embroideries and textured fabrics created the luxuriousness to the room the client was desiring. The wood framed chair in a silver finish upholstered in a textured metallic fabric topped off with a velvet cut kidney pillow added a beautiful flare in front of the windows capturing a little glimmer from the natural light. A new transitional wing back accent chair adds a new dimension of height to the other upholstered furniture. Replacing the heavy, dark draperies that were in the space previously, with silk like embossed three finger pleated draperies placed at a higher height added a more dramatic statement. To complete the room and use the ceiling height to its full potential we replaced the mirror above the mantle with a giant metallic and sultry piece of art.
