The brown, grey, and cream transitional styled rug sets the foundation for the room. A rich curved brown bed with oak grain and a platform base was placed as a focal point in the space. Along each side of the bed were two antiqued white with driftwood tops nightstands. A highly carved driftwood bench in a burlap fabric was placed at the foot of the bed for extra seating. Across the room lies an old Elmwood sideboard that functions as a dresser and balances the room. Over each nightstand hangs a beautiful arched mirror with an antiqued mirror frame to add drama to the space. Two ribbed mercury glass lamps with grey shades offer a sense of peace and relaxation. Simple tone-on-tone custom draperies with blackout lining, and fun accent pillows were chosen to coordinate with the client’s existing bedding and complete the space.
