his client requested a sophisticated and glamorous study that could accommodate the baby grand piano that she had always dreamed of owning. She had an existing desk and desk chair that needed to be used in the design plan. A seating area also needed to be incorporated into the space.

A glittery damask print wallpaper and a glittery small print wallpaper set the glamorous tone for this room. Next, we customized an oversized wall clock with Swarovski crystals and metallic gold paint. A multi-toned, multi-textured, 10 foot round shag rug was placed in the room for acoustic purposes. Tall wing back chairs in a crushed velvet stripe fabric offered seating and gave a look of boldness to the room. Smokey, antiqued mirrors placed in an eyebrow arch gave reflection to the room without overpowering the wallpaper. In keeping with the glamorous look of the space, an antiqued mirror with gold trim end table sits adjacent to a chair. A brushed brass with crystal accents lamp adorns the end table. Rich, pleated, gold draperies dramatized the room while adding a touch of softness. Custom holdbacks offer a finishing touch to the classic draperies. Brushed brass, crystal, glass, and warm wood accessories completed this space.
