Laundry Room in Beaconsfield

This fun laundry room was previously a relic from the 50's, which we transformed into a fun, colorful space with loads and loads of customized storage for off-season clothing, seasonal decorations, and tons of folding space. The backsplash was the star of the show, the cabinets were all done in resilient (scrubbable!) polyester, and the wine tower is just what every laundry room needs, no?

This is how the space looked the day we met the homeowner. They had torn out the old closet in the laundry, and then were stumped as to what to do next.

This is a basket on wheels, which rolls out of the way easily. The cabinet was designed so the toekick is attached to the doors. There is an access point to a crawlspace under the house that we had to keep, so we disguised it with this cabinet!

This drying rack rolls out when needed, and tucks neatly away when not in use (or even when it IS in use!) the cabinet below the drying rack drawer is open below, so you can actually hang items off the drying rack, into the cavity of the cabinet below!

At the end of the laundry area, the door leads to a full bathroom, so we installed an orangey/rust Hunter Douglas cellular shade to coordinate with the laundry area!

See? The drying rack drawer has no bottom, so you can actually have items hang down into the cabinet area, tucked out of site!

The homeowner now has more storage than they ever expected to get out of this space, and is actually having a hard time filling these cabinets! LOL
