Here is the view of the textured glass, which looks like pebbles! It was the glass version of the floor tile we used in the ensuite shower elsewhere in the house!

Before
Here is a rather useless space, above a coat closet halfway down the stairs leading to the basement. Someone went to a lot of trouble years ago finshing it with tiled floor and baseboard trim, but what the HECK do you do with a space like this? Well, we used it, but not as a useless box!

Here, the contractor was framing out the "new" version of the useless box! We punched a hole in the wall from the bedroom behind him, and decided to included a glass insert so that the oodles of light from the bedroom could still make its way into the hallway.
