Our clients are gourmands and love to cook, prepare cocktails and entertain large groups. They wanted to embark on their dream of having an open, clean-looking main floor space that allowed them to entertain more easily than in their closed, cramped home. They also wished for a foyer closet, a pantry, and laundry. The area was not large, so we put on our thinking caps. An old rear enclosed porch was torn down, re-built and incorporated into the main floor interior space. The main floor now encompasses a separate 6’ beverage area, a 10’ island, tons of kitchen cabinetry, two seating areas, dining space, a step-in pantry, a hidden stackable washer/dryer, and a 6’ closet. Whew! We ticked all the boxes for our clients and they are ecstatic.
