An addition added to the rear of this small bungalow transformed this space into the perfect home for a young family. The inspiration for this “Beach House” design came from the lake that is visible from all front windows of the house. The original ceiling was lifted to create a beautiful vaulted ceiling dressed with shiplap and beams. The centerpiece in the living area is the 12’ tall fireplace wall covered in light ledger rock. The rear addition contains a bedroom, washroom and master bedroom with en suite. The ample master retreat feels even larger due to the height of the vaulted ceiling. The blonde wood floors and the wall colours of soft whites and blue throughout continually invoke the calming serenity of the beach on the perfect summer day.
