Bathrooms need to function well - having enough space to enter and move around are so important. This bathroom had a very narrow entry, small shower, a little area for the toilet... We were able to move the vanity back several inches and widen the door opening several inches making the rest of the room more inviting. We rearranged the layout by swapping the toilet and the shower locations, both ended up having a larger areas to function better. We tucked a corner seat and niche in the 3x5 walk in shower, open linen storage shelving beside the toilet and all new tile flooring. Adding the barn door coming from the master bedroom finished off the new bathroom space.
