Needing to store more things led to reorganizing this laundry room area - adding a closet section with fold out ironing board along with 2foot deep storage shelving was a bonus to the room. We added adjustable shelving above the washer dryer and wrapped around the rest of the laundry end of the room while tucking built in closets on either side wall at the opposite end of the laundry space. Adjustable shelving for folded clothing, single pole hanging and double pole hanging combined with shoe shelving storage maximize the space available in this 7foot +/- walk in closet area inside the laundry room space.
