Situated right on the shore of Lake Tahoe, this remodel went from outdated and dark to bright and chic. The spaces render a comfortable atmosphere and invite one to relax with family and entertain guests in style indoors or out, while still focusing on the ever-changing views of Lake Tahoe.

The objective of this remodel was to bring this multigenerational family condo up to date without disturbing a partial kitchen remodel done a few years previous. We worked closely with the owner to source the latest materials for the project locally and in the San Francisco Bay Area. To achieve a contemporary design that allows the spaces to expand visually and physically we proposed simple, clean, sophisticated solutions, that open up the panoramic Lake Tahoe view. We used oak floors, Neolith countertops, travertine, limestone, porcelain tile, reclaimed wood, ledge stone, melamine cabinets, cement sink, grey hue stained doors, bunks and built-in cabinets.

The new life given to this residence is not only outstanding in design and quality, it utilizes all its spaces to its fullest capability. By strategically reconfiguring the pantry and entrance into the guest master, we added a bath, maximizing space and functionality. The materials and pallet create a tranquil environment blending perfectly with the luxurious views.
