An original rancho in Encino the home was built in the early 30s and truly authentic Mexicana. I just cleaned up the property with very little remodeling, repainted the rooms with some vivid colors, used new old authentic tile, restored the floors and walls, and added authentic light fixtures, searched for authentic Mexican antique furniture and wanted to really create the mood of an old hacienda. We added tapestries, Navajo rugs, fabrics that had a real 30s feel and lot of tile Talavera and Puebla. There were many patios and outdoor areas for entertaining and dining I wanted to make them friendly, relaxing and warm.
