Wallingford East Side Kitchen Remodel
This Wallingford Connecticut homeowner's remodel journey started a few years ago when she saw the Bencar Building Systems yard sign along her walking route. She was invited in and like what she saw and decided when she was ready to give us a call. During the pricing process, she met with two other contractors but she said she liked our remodel process. It is more involved but she liked knowing exactly what it would cost before signing a contract.
This kitchen had the laundry room in it It took up a lot of valuable space and she was ready to move it to the basement. The stove was moved to a more central location and the peninsula eliminated also. This created more working space! Our kitchen designer at Bender Showrooms listened to what she was interested in and created a great layout.
The Fabuwood cabinets selected were from the Allure Line with the Onyx door style in Cobblestone. She chose a Tan Brown granite with Welco Boos maple grain butcher block for a section near the stove. The sink was a Koehler Whitehaven 30" apron sink in Black & Tan and a Moen oil rubbed bronze Water Hill faucet with spray. To finish off the look, the backsplash is Brick Terrace 2x8 paver tile. The flooring is American Scrape Solid 5" hickory in candy apple.
She is thrilled with the kitchen and is so happy with the whole remodel process. She knew she wanted to stay with a wood/brown look and she was right! It looks amazing with the rest of the home.
