Enamored by the idyllic setting on a Chesapeake Bay tributary, the owners turned to us to re-imagine the existing 1950s Cape that came with it. We kept much of the existing structure, reorganizing it around a new central Living/Dining room that opens onto a colonnaded porch with beautiful water views. We raised the roof to accommodate a new second floor Master Bedroom suite and porch, giving the house a commanding waterfront presence. White-painted brick, clapboard, and wood trim unify the composition.
