Though our clients loved their home, they found their main floor closed, dated, and not in keeping with their social lifestyle. Living Room, Kitchen, and Dining Room were opened to one another, creating a new sense of light and airiness. Timeless finishes such as light oak floors, rich charcoal stained cabinets, marble-look countertops, and white subway tiles were selected. Clean lined, contemporary custom millwork was designed to hold a lifetime of sculpture collections and heirloom pieces. New decorative light fixtures compliment the homeowners’ re-furbished mid-century pieces, and a thoughtfully designed lighting plan highlights fine art paintings, all by talented family members. This re-designed home is one our clients can continue to love in the future.
