Just north of Fashion Square in Scottsdale, this fully renovated house was transformed from an older 70's kitchen floorplan into a modern space in which interior walls were removed freeing up flow and visibility.

This space was designed to maximize both storage and function while giving the clients the full range of appliances they wanted.

During the design process, we went through numerous material choices prior to landing on the clean, neutral palate of unstained maple wood. This offers a very stark contrast to the black and Zeus granite slabs from Cactus stone. The stone finish for all spaces is leathered to add another layer of interest and texture.

Also adding to the texture is the 3d tile used for the entire backsplash cooktop wall. This creates added drama surrounding the hood.

Of course capping the design is an amazing curved hood surround which is a true one of a kind unique and eclectic finish for this space. A true focal point for the kitchen!

Reversing the color palette, you'll see the same cabinet door style done in a black stained oak which contrasts the white stone which was selected as it's also used in the great room.

This choice of stone allows a number of various elements to flow through the entire house; a great feat when it can be pulled off with so much new and dynamic space being designed.
