Adding Character to a New Kitchen
This 1960's kitchen on the north side of this home had original cabinets and was dark. Brightening the kitchen with new cabinetry and cabinets was requested to go along with the existing new stainless appliances. The homeowner also wanted to add character to their space. This is what we added:
--LED lighting on a dimmer to brighten yet have control
--tile on wall to mimic brick chimney
--reclaimed wood shelving with handcrafted metal brackets
--continued medium oak wood flooring into dining/kitchen
--white subway tile backsplash to continues to ceiling
--white cabinetry to ceiling
Brightened and fresh, this kitchen now has elements of character that flow from the front entrance and are enjoyed by all family and guests!
