BASEMENT Retreat
What a joy it has been to have this basement space while this family of 4 has been staying at home! The original 1951 basement was dark and utilitarian in design. A guest suite and family space were requested to expand the living space and welcome visiting family.
Here is what we accomplished:
--framed and dry-walled large open room for multi-use
--moved existing plumbing and duct work in ceiling/ floor as needed
--created double entry bathroom with shower
--added egress window to brighten new guest room and add safe exit
--installed new easy maintenance LVP flooring in all new spaces
This once visually challenged basement has now become a popular get a way spot for multiple family members.
They can't wait to welcome their first guest!
