SPACIO architects were employed by their client to complete renovate and extend this 1980's detached Wimbledon park home.
The clients requirements where to maximise as much floor space as possible from the property by converting the existing double garage to a large double aspect kitchen, living and dining room.
Extending this vertically to produce another room above of the same size on the first floor for a home gym and removing the existing shallow pitched roof to the main house and creating a mandara style 2nd floor loft incorporating the full footprint of the existing and extended sections of the house in which a master suite with dressing room and en-suite bathroom, plus a further en-suite spare guest room were created.
The result increased the GIA of the house from 1800sqft to 3200 sqft.
