Aldershot has a large Nepalese community so SPACIOarchitects wanted to infuse some essence of the culture and tradition within our design, but at the same time keep it slick and on-trend.
The idea behind TRUTH derived from 'self' reflection through the mirrors and 'self' visualisation which has been portrayed on the canvases, while focusing on the feminine curves and textures overpowered by the surrounded lines and boxes.
The liner flat pattern on the facade has been extended into the internal space as if you’re walking into a perspective drawing from a 2D view to a real 3D experience.
Lines are projected from floor to ceiling.
The use of brass and copper in traditional Nepalese furniture and jewellery influenced the colour scheme and materials chosen.
