Koolcha is a type of Indian flat bread typically filled with meat or vegetables and which is made in a metal cylinder oven, famously on the busy streets of the North Indian city of Amritsar.
Our design for the Koolcha restaurant takes us back to those streets where we have taken imagery of the many narrow dusty roads where continuous hustle and bustle fills the streets.
Design details incorporating the corporate colours of the brand; a focal curved wall; bench belts tying things together as a metaphor to express practicality of the Indian way of thinking; and concrete effect in walls and floor finishes. Everything gives the place its outdoor street look. And all details are carried right throughout the space.
