SPACIO architects were employed by their client to modernise this beautiful mid terrace Victorian terrace in Tooting borders. The existing 1050sqft three bedroom, two reception house had no previous additions and in a bad state of repair throughout.

SPACIO architects redesigned the ground floor, bringing the kitchen into the central of the home to allow living and dining with views over the garden whilst maintaining sufficient light to the kitchen area. A 4.5m single storey flat roof extension was proposed with old stock bricks salvaged from the removal of chimney breasts and the original back wall. A full width downer loft conversion added an en-suite master fourth bedroom on the 2nd floor with more exposed brick detailing at the clients request.

The result is a 1500 sqft four bedroom, three bathroom, two reception family home that provides for modern family living.
