Cape Cod Style Frontyard

This Cape Cod style home and garden are set in the heart of Etobicoke overlooking St-George Golf and Country Club. The house was completely re-done and re-modelled by the famed Jim Caruk and was featured on his television show Real Reno's. We were hired independently by the home owner to transform their front and backyard into cape code style masterpieces.

Remodelled home by Jim Caruk. The garage has a pavingstone apron which transitions into the limestone flagstone walkway to the front step. Driveway has a Unilock Brussels Block pavingstone border with an asphalt inlay.

Pillars made from hand chiselled limestone walling stone, and Indiana limestone pillar caps. Cobblestone curbing makes for a nice transition from the flagstone walkway to the garden beds. Star Magnolia on the right with spreading junipers at the base are a nice compliment of colour texture and...

Hand chiselled limestone walling stone with recessed jointing gives great character to the pillars at the walkway entrance. Raised cobblestone curbing gives height and definition to the planting beds.

One of the home owners favourite spots to sit, drink his morning coffee, read the paper, and heckle the golfers at St-George Golf and Country Club (kidding). Pool safe fencing is made of wrought iron and nicely hidden by plantings as to not obstruct the view.
