Traditional Frontyard

This is a traditional style frontyard in Rosedale. Stone steps, pillars and walls pull your eyes to the grand front entrance. Paving stone driveway is bordered with in-lay paved at a 45 degree angle for interest. Planting beds consist of Boxwood hedges/spheres, Yews, Japanese Maple, Ivory Silk Lilac, Purple Beech hedging and Ornamental Onion perennials.

Looking up the driveway we see the entrance to this beautiful Rosedale home. Credit Valley flagstone steps, pillars and walls make a nice transition from driveway to Indiana limestone steps. Boxwood spheres and hedges balance planting beds. Owner loves planting annuals in the spring time.

Hand chiselled Credit Valley ledgerock pillars have sawn Indiana Limestone caps to help tie into the upper stairs. Seasonal planters are changed regularly for colour and interest.

Looking out the front door we see the transition between the saw Indiana flagstone steps to the Credit Valley flagstone landing, pillars and wall. Unilock Brussels Block driveway laid on a 45 degree angle for interest. Seasonal planters have drip irrigation.

Front planting bed has a Boxwood hedge surround with Boxwood hedge circles on the interior. Front garden was left open because the home owner loves to tend to her roses and annual plantings. Purple Beech hedge lines the far side of the driveway.
