This family asked us to design and fabricate a shade structure with a solid roof that was detached from the house for a shaded dining space. We used limestone pavers surrounded by crushed limestone in a steel-edged patio. The pergola structure is painted steel and the roof is made of planed cedar beams and galvalume roofing material, featuring a reveal between the roof and steel beams. We also regraded and replanted an existing vegetative bed closer to the house.
