We were excited to add another PSW Real Estate project! These clients live in the Zilker Terrace community. They asked us to come up with a design that extends the patio space into the sloped compact yard, or to maximize the yard by adding a living space. We proposed leveling the area one step down from the concrete patio, a steel planter along the house, and planting up the remaining sloped ground plane. We placed clumping bamboo to screen the shed right against their fence. We also fabricated a custom steel gas fire pit for the sectional lounging area for this project. Since a portion of the patio ended up having a significant drop-off, we backed this area with hexagonal steel screen railing. Clay Imports installed the beautiful concrete tile to the covered patio.
