This couple asked us to design a usable space to entertain friends; their existing patio was cracked and had drainage issues, which as adversely affecting the siding of the house. We loved how open they were to location, organization, and materials. We proposed a concrete paver patio set in pea gravel, a custom steel and concrete grill counter framed by a steel structure to hang string lights, and surrounding drought-tolerant plants.
