The Gordon's were looking for a more cohesive space in their side and backyards. They wanted a space by the sliding glass doors for a small bistro table as well as a larger dining area on a covered deck in the back. We also proposed an extension of their living room with a sectional lounger, which is connected to the bistro area by a limestone paver patio. We replaced the existing gravel with a finer grade after we leveled the backyard. Since the neighbors are so visible from this wonderfully airy floorpan, clumping bamboos along the perimeter serve to screen from certain vantage points.
