This family saw what we did with their friends' project, the Cozzolinos, and asked us to design a space for their backyard. They wanted a pool, a sitting area out in the yard in the shade, a path from the gate along the side of the house, and thoughtful planting beds. We anchored the pool with a boardwalk along two sides and balanced the material palette with gravel, grass, and hardwood.
