Off-white cabinetry with granite countertops and luxury vinyl floor

Classic raised ranch layout, where the customer had the wall removed between the dining room and kitchen.

Kitchen open to dining room

By removing the wall between the dining room and kitchen, the kitchen seems much larger than the before photo. Much storage was gained in the new island and shallow pantry.

The customer gained much storage in their new kitchen island.

to keep costs down, the bearing wall was left in place to provide a shallow pantry and extra countertop.

By keeping the cabinetry light, the view of the kitchen as you enter from the foyer is much nicer to behold than the old kitchen.

In the 70s, it was not unusual to have little to no work space by the cooking area. The cooktop would have been used as the landing space for the oven. No room to work in this before kitchen.

The exterior door and windows were removed and replaced with a window over the sink in the new layout.

Back exterior wall wasted

The table is removed from the kitchen to make way for cabinetry and countertops along the exterior wall. The wall to the left by the dining room is removed.

Crowded eating area

In the before kitchen, there is no landing space for the refrigerator to put things down, except on the table. The deep pantry with shelves was a cavern to lose things in .
