The existing kitchen was standard builder's quality and design. The client requested something more up-to-date and not so stark white to fit in with her warm-colored decor in the rest of the house.

The existing refrigerator was all by itself with a pantry closet next to it. The structure of the framed pantry closet wastes a lot of space. A pantry cabinet not only looks better, but has more usable space.
