This approximately one-acre residential property underwent a complete landscape transformation. The existing landscape had awkward curves, isolated steps and an impractical circulation pattern. The redesign established clearer movement through the property while retaining important mature trees and reimagining the existing pool.
Custom-cut travertine, natural stone, Corten steel and a pivot gate create a clean contemporary material palette. Stone walls, carefully organized paving and layered privacy planting reinforce the new structure of the landscape.
The project included landscape master planning, pool design, hardscape design, planting and site planning. It illustrates Monica Perrone Landscape Architecture’s approach to integrating architecture, materials, mature vegetation and practical circulation into a coherent residential landscape.
