This outdoor living transformation expanded the usable garden by converting a former car driveway into an extension of the home.
A separate dining area, custom retractable shade structure and reworked circulation create a more useful sequence of outdoor rooms. The design strengthens the connection between the house and garden while allowing the landscape to become a natural extension of everyday living.
Naturalistic, semi-wild planting softens the transition between the more structured outdoor spaces and the garden. The project demonstrates how landscape architecture can turn an underused portion of a residential property into a functional outdoor living space without making the garden feel overly formal.
