This Turlock residential landscape is an evolving large property with an established history and multiple site conditions to solve.
The landscape master plan provides an adaptable framework for addressing practical site problems while respecting the character and history of the property. Garden spaces, outdoor living areas, planting and circulation are organized so that the landscape can continue to evolve as the property and its needs change.
Rather than treating the project as a single installation, the design takes a long-term view of the property—identifying priorities, solving immediate problems and establishing a structure that can support future improvements.
The project represents a practical approach to Central Valley landscape architecture for large residential and rural properties.
