Traditional Garden

Designer: Monica Perrone Landscape Architecture
Designed for a 16-bed hospice facility, this garden was created to serve patients, families, staff, donors and the broader community while providing a peaceful and dignified outdoor environment.
The landscape includes private patient patios, shaded paths, layered hedges and mature tree canopies, along with a 150-foot rose arbor that gives the garden a strong organizing element. Four water features—including a mist-filled grotto—provide sound, movement and sensory interest. A herringbone brick patio and lawn gathering area create additional places for families and community members to gather.
This project reflects Monica Perrone’s experience in healthcare landscape architecture, therapeutic gardens, planting design and the careful coordination of multiple needs within a single landscape.
