Country Style Kitchen Design
In this kitchen we wanted to create something classic but a bit different, so we opted for modern warm gray cabinets with a more traditional door style. Large crown molding added elegance and finished look to the cabinets, as well as veiny quartz countertops that give clean and bright look. For a touch of playfulness we selected gentle blue subway tile on the backsplash and contrasted it with white grout lines. Our client kept their dark appliances so we added black hardware pulls and black finish faucet to compliment the contrasting appliances. Open shelf is a great feature for display of mugs, plates, or cookbooks. My client had a traditional glass chandelier for over the breakfast room table that we incorporated into design to add a pop of color to the space.
As a part of this remodeling project we redid the powder room, and main level hardwood floors. Powder room flows well with kitchen with its black features, and connecting handscraped hardwood flooring.
