This kitchen reno was a part of the main floor renovation for a client in Burke. It was a reno on a budget so we had to watch every dollar. We maximized storage by adding a custom pantry, drawers for pots and pans, deep over the fridge cabinet, pull out trash bin, lazy susan corner cabinet, and we have managed to doubled the countertop surface by being creative, and adding a counter height breakfast bar into dining room.
Client wanted very bright kitchen due to lack of natural light, so we selected off white cabinets, and textured off white tile inspired by Moroccan motifs. We chose the contrasting black granite for the countertops as well as black finish hardware, and warmed the space with medium dark hardwood floors. Client picked beautiful GE Café stainless steel appliances that add a dose of luxury to the kitchen.
