Master bathroom in Navy Blue
We created this gorgeous oasis/ master bathroom for a client in Alexandria, VA.
They wanted traditional elegance and modern design, with a hint of trendy navy blue. We added some drama by painting the ceiling dark gray and adding contrasting crown molding to divide ceiling from light gray walls. We opted for a modern odd shaped freestanding tub with a curve that allows comfortable head and neck position, and leaves generous space for comfortable bath enjoyment.
We tiled upper portion of the shower with blue Sahara marble, as well as recessed shower shelf, and shower floor to add more elegance to tile work. We chose simple but gorgeous sconces over the vanity, and added additional recessed light for extra lighting. The chandelier over the tub adds glamorous touch to the entire space, as well as elongated frameless mirrors.
For additional storage we added a navy blue custom linen cabinet, that matches the vanity.
Under the window ledge has been matched to vanity with the carrara marble top, for extra shampoos, and perhaps a Champaign glass on a relaxing evening!
