Damascus Garage Repair
**Exterior Stone Veneer & Garage Pillar Repair — Vehicle Impact Damage**
This project started with a damaged garage pillar — a vehicle had struck the structure, crumbling the stone veneer away from the base and exposing the framing beneath. Left unaddressed, it was a moisture and structural liability right at the garage door opening.
We demolished the impact-damaged veneer down to the substrate, removed the failing stone and deteriorated mortar, assessed the underlying framing for structural integrity, and rebuilt from the ground up.
The old stone was stripped from the garage face and entry wall, housewrap was installed over the cleaned substrate, and new stacked stone veneer was applied across the full width of the garage front and around the entry. The new stone — a light gray ledgestone with natural texture variation — completely transforms the front elevation, giving the home a substantial, well-built look it didn't have before.
Corner pieces were carefully set to wrap the pillar and entry wall cleanly, and the finished installation runs tight to the soffit line for a polished, intentional result.
What came in as collision damage left as one of the more noticeable exterior upgrades in the neighborhood.
