**Basement Bar & Media Room Remodel — Full Interior Transformation**

What started as a dated, dark basement bar got a complete overhaul — same bones, completely different personality.

The existing space featured dark cherry cabinetry with worn wood countertops, a copper sink. The homeowners wanted something brighter, more refined, and built for how their family actually lives today.

The original cabinetry was repainted in crisp white and fitted with new brushed gold hardware, transforming the same footprint into something that feels brand new. The existing copper sink and bronze faucet were retained as intentional contrast against the fresh white — a detail that gives the bar real character.

New quartz countertops in a soft gray marble pattern run the full length of the bar and wrap the corner, tying the space together. Open shelving flanks a central mirror panel above the bar, adding depth and keeping the space feeling open rather than closed off. The paneling on the bar wall was removed and the wine rack that was not utilized was transformed into more shelving.

The adjacent media room received equal attention — deep forest green walls, custom wainscoting built from scratch and painted to match. The wainscoting panels were fabricated and installed in-house, giving the room a tailored, upscale finish that punches well above typical basement renovations.

The result: a space that went from dark and tired to bold, sophisticated, and completely livable.
