This project involved the design and construction of a new attached patio cover over an existing deck. The homeowner's existing deck featured a portable canopy/gazebo that provided limited protection from the elements — we replaced that with a permanent, structure built to last.

The new cover spans the deck and ties into the home, featuring heavy timber beams and posts set on concrete footings. The shed-style roof integrates seamlessly with the home's existing roofline, providing year-round weather protection while maintaining the open feel of the outdoor space. Exposed rafter tails give the structure a clean, craftsman-inspired finish that complements the home's existing profile.
