We called this project #DSIfTheseWallsCouldTalk because they were literally full of history. When our client bought her grandparents’ home they got more than just memories… they got a room clad in barn wood from the family’s barn. As cool as barn wood is, we all could admit it was a little over the top. We carefully removed the wall paneling and the homeowner shared it with other family members. We held some back to custom build the coffee table (shown) and a future dining table . Once the wood was down, we set out to create a mid-century-vibed office which would more than complement the existing house, but with a high-quality twist! This office is more than functional – all the storage they need, comfy seating area… and a bar!
