Jennifer and Micheals kitchen remodel

This old kitchen needed an update. The homeowners had some appliances already and loved the dark wood cabinets that the house come with, but they were old and not very user friendly! The space didn't provide the storage they needed for how they live, especially for a family that likes to cook. By moving some appliances around and eliminating an L shaped counter, we were able to open this galley kitchen up and make it feel a lot larger. We created a moveable island that fits perfectly against the wall or can be pulled out when they are cooking and added detail that reflected the architecture of the home. The white tile and light counters really lightened up the space. Once the kitchen got done, the homeowners were inspired to tackle other parts of the home that needed updating! There is a lot of sweat equity in this kitchen and we think it was well worth it!
