This was a 100 year old house! In some ways it still is. This is our house and we loved it when it was super tiny, because the neighborhood is fantastic and we had our little babies in this house. When we outgrew it, we stewed over moving and decided it was better to stay and remodel. At first we tried to salvage the quarkiness of the original house, but it became to costly to built around some of it, so we ripped most of it down, added onto the main level then pulled the whole thing up, creating a brand new 2nd and 3rd floor. Our old house was dark, so this house has a lot of white and windows, in fact, there is barely a wall to hang art on and we're OK with that!
