H2D Architecture + Design worked with this Edmonds family to develop a plan to add additional space to their home. Their design goal was to expand the home to accommodate growing their family in the future. The design included adding a second story addition with three bedrooms, master suite, sitting room and deck overlooking the view of the Puget Sound. The main floor was also reconfigured to allow for a remodeled flexible living and office space. The height limit and site restrictions were challenging to work within to develop the addition to the home.
